Straight answers
Is this a ranking of colleges?
No. The Standard checks the services a college delivers, in a private review each year. There are no public grades and no league tables.
Do brands ever see my child's data?
Never. A partner store sees a voucher code, never a name. Student and parent data stays with the college and the platforms, under the Data Protection Act 2017.
Will teachers be judged or ranked?
No. The Standard measures the college, not individual teachers. Teachers get training, a co-pilot that drafts for them to approve, and certificates that count.
Who checks that the promises are kept?
Each promise is checked every term from the college's own data in schooling.live, followed by a private yearly review. An independent Quality Board owns the Standard.
What happens if a promise is broken?
You raise it with the college, which answers within 5 school days. If it is still open after 10, the Quality Desk steps in. The remedy is a capped refund of the term's family contribution.
